Mary Lou Schwab Welsh, 82, of McConnelsville, passed away on Mon. June 27, 2022 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville.  She was born on March 11, 1940 in Chesterhill to the late Henry and Estie West Schwab.  She is survived by 3 sons, Richard (Rose) Welsh of Pennsville, Tim Welsh of Coshocton and Dana Welsh of McConnelsville, 2 daughters, Patty Hill of McConnelsville and Freda (George) Makatura of Malta, a sister, Edna Madinger of Zanesville, 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband Dana Welsh, an infant daughter, 2 brothers, Charles and Ozzy Schwab and 2 sisters, Minnie Kirkbride and Kathrine Leckrone.  A visitation will be held on Weds, June 29, 2022 from 6-8 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with a caring cremation taking place at her request.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pennsville Vol. Fire Dept.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
