Agnes Kathleen Samples, 77, of 6635 St. Rt. 60 N., McConnelsville, passed away at 10:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at the Riverside Country Care Center in McConnelsville.

She was born July 20,1934 in Millstone, WV, to the late Erastas and Ilene Adams McKee.

She was the owner and operator of Lace Is Us and was a member of the Seventh Street Church Of Christ. Mrs. Samples also worked at the former Colonial Inn and was a former manager of the American Legion in McConnelsville.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ronald Lee Samples; two daughters, Linda Lee (Jim) Goslin of Reinersville and Pam Bohn of Cocoa, FL; two sons, Rickey Wayne (Debbie) Burnside and Randall William (Lynn) Burnside, both of Rokeby Lock; a brother, Robert McKee of Dublin, VA; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Pettit; and two brothers, Rex and Calvin McKee.

Calling hours will be held Friday, Nov. 25, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville.

A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at the Seventh Street Church Of Christ in McConnelsville, with the burial to follow in Malta Cemetery.
