Albert E. Hall, 85, of Malta, passed away at 12 (noon) Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville.

He was born November 20, 1927, in Morgan County, to the late Bernard Hall and Bessie Teters Hall.

Mr. Hall was retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Neelyville Grange for 25 years and the Deerfield Presbyterian Church, near Malta. He was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in McConnelsville, where he served as trustee, elder and deacon. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Donna Burkheimer Hall; two daughters, Elizabeth Allen and Jane Hall, both of Columbus; two sons, Phil (Judy) Hall of Malta and Robert (Kacy) Hall of McConnelsville; two grandchildren, Amy Kennedy of Columbus and Devin Hall of Malta; three great-grandchildren, Payton, Preston, and Paisley Kennedy; a sister, Betty Coyle of McConnelsville; and a brother, Francis Hall of Canton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Freda Kuntz and Edith Scott; two brothers, Alva Hall and Harry Hall.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, with Pastor Barbara Morrison officiating.

Albert will be laid to rest in McConnelsville Cemetery.
