Alice M. Van Fossen, 74, of McConnelsville, formerly of Chesterhill, passed away on Thurs, June 16, 2022 at her residence.  She was born on Jan. 8, 1948 in Sharpsburg, Ohio to the late Ralph and Eloise Robertson McCune.  She was a homemaker that loved raising her children and was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville.  She is survived by her son, Gene (Lisa) Van Fossen of Stockport, a daughter, Peggy (Mike) King of Mineral Wells, 3 brothers, Bobby McCune of Chesterhill, Joey McCune of Kilvert and Archie McCune of Vienna, Oh, a sister, Donna Holland of Chesterhill, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carlos Van Fossen, son Ricky Van Fossen, sister, Karen Morris and granddaughter, Josie Van Fossen.  Services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with burial following in the Dale Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family from 10-12 P.M. the day of the funeral.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shrivers Hospice Foundation P.O.
