Alma G. Mingus, 89, of 700 Halcyon Ave., McConnelsville, passed away at 7:49 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011 in the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

She was born July 9,1922 in Morgan County to the late John and Ethel Reed Jordan.

Alma was retired from Malta Manufacturing. She loved to cook, read, and sew.

Surviving are three daughters, Carolyn (Gene) Masterson of McConnelsville, Constance Pauley of Vincent, and Valerie Vincent of Malta; three sons, Richard Duane McKibben of Columbus, Jerrold Wayne McKibben of Zanesville, and Jeffrey Alan McKibben of Lexington, TN; a sister, Charlotte Speer of Los Angeles, CA; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great- grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Duane J. McKibben, and her second husband, Donald Mingus; and a brother, Jerrold Jordan.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 1-3:30 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., with Pastor Bracken Foster officiating.

The burial will be in McConnelsville Cemetery.
