Angelina M. Pope, 44, of 2477 Curry Lane, McConnelsville passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 5:20 p.m. at her home with her husband at her side.

She was born April 21, 1966 in Zanesville. She was a homemaker and was also a well known cook at local restaurants in the McConnelsville area. Angelina enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 5 years, George A. Pope; her mother, Nanci Holter Jackson of Malta; a daughter, Anna Kovaleski of Bremen; two sons, Quinton (Melissa) Kovaleski of Ashland, KY, and Logan (Ashlie) Kovaleski of Malta; four brothers, J. D. Patterson of Stockport, Tony and Adam Patterson both of McConnelsville, and Kevin Patterson of Deavertown; two half brothers, Christopher Mayle of Zanesville and Darrell Jackson Jr. of Marietta; a step son, Jeremy Pope of McConnelsville; and several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Patterson.

Calling hours will be held Monday, January 3, 2011 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral home in McConnelsville where a funeral service will be Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. At Angelina's request a caring cremation will take place after the services.
