Anna M. Bond, 99, of McConnelsville, passed away at 1:35 p.m. March 5, 2014, at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville.

She was born January 16, 1915, in Noble County, a daughter of the late Apollo Morris and Alice Edgar Morris.

Mrs. Bond was a homemaker and member of Valley Chapter No. 19 OES in McConnelsville, member of Reinersville United Methodist Church and attended Grace United Methodist Church in McConnelsville, and a member of the Morgan County Senior Citizens.

She is survived by a son, Bill (Ginny) Bond of McConnelsville, grandchildren, Holly (Greg) Ryan, Brad (Maureen) Bond, and Bryce Bond; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and close friend, Helen Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Bond, who died Feb. 7, 1984; and a sister, Oneida Underwood.

Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. with Pastor Bracken Foster officiating.

Private family burial will follow in Reinersville Cemetery.
