Audrey L. Porter, 82, of McConnelsville formerly of Portersville passed away at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011 at the Riverside Country Care Center in McConnelsville.

She was born March 19,1929 in Morgan County to the late Harvey and Lena Mendenhall McPeak.

Mrs. Porter was a housewife and homemaker, and was a member of the Malta United Methodist Church and the Ruth Circle of the Malta United Methodist Women.

She is survived by two nephews, Steve (Rhonda) Jackson of Chesterhill and Jeff McPeak of Cleveland; a niece, Nancy McPeak (Jim) Conway of Delaware; two great-nephews, Aaron and Adam Jackson; a great-niece, Adessa Jackson; a great-great-nephew, Brennan Melvin; and a sister-in-law, Marian McPeak of Malta.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Porter, and a brother, Robert McPeak.

Calling hours will be Saturday, Nov. 5, from 6-8 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at the Malta United Methodist Church, with Pastor Bill Bentley officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Portersville.
