B. Ruth Crews, 91, of McConnelsville, passed away at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday May 1, 2012 at the Riverside Country Care Center in McConnelsville.

She was born June 4,1920 in West Virginia to the late William Toler and Delphia Gibson Toler.

Ruth was a homemaker and an avid gardener and loved her flowers. The greatest joy of her life were her three great-grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan (Gary) Kaster of McConnelsville; a son, Dave Crews of Zanesville; two grandchildren, Krissy (Tony) Machamer of Duncan Falls and Jason Kaster of Zanesville; three great-grandchildren, Karter Kaster, and Madelyn and Anna Machamer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald V. Crews, who died in 1971; two brothers, Don and Wade; and two sisters, Katheryn and Opal.

Calling hours will be Thursday, May 3, from 6-8 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 4, with Pastor Galen Finley officiating.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband in McConnelsville Cemetery.
