View a Video Memorial Barbara J Gohring, 67 of Stockport, died on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville. She was born on June 20, 1947 in Zanesville, Ohio to Henry and Kathryn Hook Abrams. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband Donnie E. Gohring of Stockport, 2 daughters, Pamela (Allen) Dingey of McConnelsville and Connie Dew of Crossville TN, 3 brothers, Aurthur Abrams of McConnelsville, Randy Abrams of Stockport and Junior Abrams of Chesterhill, 4 sisters, Carol Burkhart of Malta, Jackie Buckus of Cambridge, Linda Ponchak of Stockport and Sarah Vincent of Chesterhill and 4 grandchildren, Jim (Shana) Dew, Kelly Dew, Derek Dingey and Danny Dingey. She is preceded in death by her father, 1 son, Danny Gohring and 1 sister, Clara Hunter. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 from 2-4 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral home in McConnelsville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Stockport Emergency Medical Service.
