STEWART: Barbara E. Goins, 65, of Stewart, died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 11:22 a.m. at the Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus. She was born on June 28, 1945 in Chesterhill to Everett and Garnet Tabler Walker. She was a case worker for the department of Human Services in Athens and a member of the Kilvert Church of God. She also enjoyed casinos, bingo, and her grandkids. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa and Stephon Saunders of Nashport; two brothers, Leroy Walker of Columbus, and Raymond Walker of Sardis; two sisters, Elnore Walker of Stewart and Liz Tabler of Zanesville; five grandchildren, Kenny Mayle, Jessica Mayle, Kristan Simmons, Tristan Tabler and Jazmyn Tabler; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Garnet Walker; and two sons, Tony and Everett Simmons. Services will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with pastors Steve Skellett and Charlie Buck officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt Hermon Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Sunday, December 19, 2010 from 4-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the services.
