Barbara Jean Hill, 71, of Pennsville, passed away on Mon, March 18, 2024 at the Riverside Hospital in Columbus.  She was born on Feb. 21, 1953 in Charleston, W.Va. to the late Elden and Betty Pierce Gorrell.  She is survived by her husband, Bill Hill of the Home, a brother, Steve Gorrell of Portersville and a sister, Sarah Clifton of Malta.  She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Larry.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling a caring cremation at the family's request.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheney fh.com.
