Barbara A. McKee, 75, of McConnelsville, passed away at 3:40 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2013, at the Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville.

She was born December 11, 1937, in Hackney, the daughter of the late Blanche Conn.

Mrs. McKee was the owner of Barb's Restaurant in McConnelsville and a member of the American Legion Post 24 Auxilary in McConnelsville and the McConnelsville Eagles Club.

Surviving are one daughter, Leslie (Dan) Stall of Blue Rock; one son, Mark (Debbie) Davis of Hackney; four grandchildren, Dustin Davis, Amanda Queen, Kyle and Kelsy Stall; two great-grandchildren, Haidyn Maurer and Harper Stall; three sisters, Mickie Farley of Malta, Connie Ferguson of McConnelsville, and Becky Martin of Pennsville; two brothers; Donnie Lawrence of Hackney and Gary Lawrence of Malta.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn McKee, who died October 18, 2012.

At her request a caring cremation will take place without any services.

Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling arrangements.
