Beatrice Ann Calendine, 91, of McConnelsville, passed away on Monday. Aug. 17, 2020 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville.  She was born on April 17, 1929 in Pennsville to the late Clyde and Mary Harris Best.  She along with her husband was the owner operator of the Main Street Market and Riverside Processing both in McConnelsville.  She was a member of the OES Valley Chapter #19 in McConnelsville.  She is survived by a son David (Joyce) Calendine of Malta, 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene "Buck" Calendine, 2 brothers, Robert and Donald Best, a sister, Betty Brown and 2 sisters in laws, Dorothy Norris and Lucy Best.  Services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the McConnelsville Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family 1 hour prior to the services.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
