Bernice G. Roberts, 100, of McConnelsville, passed away at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at her home.

She was born May 25,1913 in Meigsville Township, Morgan County to the late William Barnes and Jessie Singree Barnes. Bernice was a homemaker and a member of the Neelysville Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Morgan County Gun Club.

She is survived by a daughter, Peggy (Larry) Wise of McConnelsville; and a son, Connie (Mary) Roberts of McConnelsville; three grandchildren, Lynette Wise and her fiance, Troy Mills of Frazeysburg, Robyn Spangler of Zanesville, and Brad Tom of Norfolk, VA; three great grandchildren, Gavyn Mills, Christian Spangler, and Tylleston Spangler.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett C. Roberts, two sisters, Claudia Bline and Peggy Ferguson and a brother.

Calling hours will be Friday, October 25,2013 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where funeral services will be held Saturday, October 26,2013 at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
