McConnelsville Bernice I. (Bun) Roberts 91, of 8632 N. St Rt 376 McConnelsville passed away at 12:55 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville. She was born September 29, 1919 in Bristol Township, Morgan County the daughter of the late Delmar Ray and Lura Belle Cordray Ray.She was a farmer and a retired Cosmetology teacher at the Morgan High School, a member of the Pisgah United Methodist Church near McConnelsville, ladies auxiliary of the VFW in Malta, Morgan County Farm Bureau , and the Beech Grove Grange.She is survived by one daughter Connie Krause of Stockport, two sons Stephen Roberts of McConnelsville, Phillip (Patricia) Roberts of Frisco, Texas; six grandchildren Gabriel Roberts, Jeff (Stephanie) Krause, Michele Roberts, Jill Krause (Tony Kearns), Kim Krause (Dirk Dozer), and Kari (Allan) Schaad, two great grandchildren Cooper and Kinleigh Krause, one sister Doris Ray of McConnelsville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dean H. Roberts who died in 1992, one son Michael R Roberts, two sisters Maxine McLaughlin and Lucille Bean, four brothers Wendell, Donovan, Wayne and Robert Myron Ray. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011 with Reverend Bracken Foster officiating.
