Betsy A. Parsons Rupe, 64, of McConnelsville , Ohio , passed away at 4:20 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2019 at Morrison House in Zanesville . She was born March 1, 1955 in Chesterhill , Ohio , a daughter of Marion and Martha Medley Parsons. She graduated from Morgan High School and attended Ohio University . She worked for Tri-County Mental Health as a social worker and caregiver. She is survived by her mother, Martha Parsons Harlow of McConnelsville, 1 son: Matt (Jamie) Mendenhall of Guysville, 4 daughters: Kristina (Jeremy) Campbell of Albany, Samantha (Nathan) Larger of New Bremen, Sabrina Rupe of Columbus, and Cayla Rupe of Louisville, CO., 1 brother: Mark Parsons of McConnelsville, 2 sisters: Patsy (Steve) Klein of Melbourne, FL., Donna (Paul Jackson) Parsons of Waterford, nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and 1 brother, Dickie Parsons. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in Chesterhill at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home with Pastor Stanley Strode officiating. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be in the Chesterhill Cemetery .
