Betty L. Bragg, 87, of 856 S. Riverside Drive, McConnelsville, passed away at 12:35 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 at the Riverside Country Care Center near McConnelsville.

She was born August 15, 1924 in Meigs the daughter of the late Grover C. and Bessie Cunningham Knox.

She was a housewife, a member of the First Presbyterian Church in McConnelsville, and the Morgan County Historical Society. She was also a former member of the Friends of the Kate Love Simpson Library.

She is survived by two sons, Ted Bragg and Randy (Cheryl) Bragg both of McConnelsville; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Faye Wallace of Middleport.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Putnam Bragg, who died October 1, 1996; two sisters, Hope Renick and Hazel Eppler; four brothers, Ike Knox, Charles Knox, Lloyd Knox, and Paul Knox.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at the McConnelsville Cemetery.
