Betty L. Clark, 89 of Bartlett, passed away on Thur. Nov. 8, 2018 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 23, 1929 in Amesville to the late William F. and Ruth McCune Clester. She worked as a cook for the Warren Local School Dist. She was a member of the Light House Baptist Church in Barlow but attended Liberty United Brethren Church with her children in her later years and was a member of the Bartlett Senior Citizens. She is survived by 5 daughters, Carolyn Love of Veto, Beverly (John) Howard of Chesterhill, Marlene (Gene) Russell of Stockport, Barbara (Saundra Waller) VanNess of Grove City and Kaye (Jim) Hall of Lowell, 2 brothers, Robert (Karen) Clester of Salsbury, NC and Roger (Wreatha) Clester of Chesterhill, a sister, Kay (Gary) Stephens of Galena, 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a special friend Jessica Wagner. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Harry A. Shook, 2nd husband, Glenn W. Clark, daughter, Judy Poole, 5 sisters, Anna Clester, Velma Baker, Wilma Smith, Dixie Hallowell and Billie Burge, brother, Charles Clester, granddaughter, Debbie, grandson, Danny and a great granddaughter, Mary, son-in-law, Skip Love. A visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 12, 2018 from 4-7 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with services following at 7:00 P.M.
