Betty J. King, 86, of McConnelsville passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022. She was born June 17, 1936 at Crum Ridge in Noble County, Ohio to the late Everett Feldner and Grace Van Fossen Feldner. Betty married Ancil King, Sr. on July 20, 1952, the love of her life. She was a member of the 7th Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville and was a homemaker and farmer. Betty was the bookkeeper for King's Repair and Deutz Tractor Sales. She loved mowing and manicuring her yard. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Betty was known as, "Granny", to many people in addition to her family. She is survived by two daughters, Diana (Doug) Clifton of McConnelsville, Penny Carr of Malta; two sons, Ancil (Connie) King, Jr. of McConnelsville, Duane (Patsy) King of Chesterhill; 12 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; a great great grandchild; and a daughter-in-law, Deb King of McConnelsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ancil King, Sr.; an infant daughter, Linda King; a son, Danny King, Sr.; two sisters, Mable Bettinger and Wilma Wickham; three brothers, Woodrow, Chester and Martin Feldner. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Olive Cemetery in Caldwell with Pastor Sam Bartrug and Pastor Trevor Gilliland officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the 7th Street Church of Christ or to Genesis Hospice. Miller-Huck Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
