Betty Joann Hill, 79, of Stockport, passed away on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus. She was born on Feb. 26, 1937 in Zanesville to the late Clarence Homer and Dorothy Mayle Cook. She was a homemaker and worked as a laborer in several factories'. She is survived by 1 son, Wilbur (Chrissy) Hill of Plantsville, 4 daughters, Debbie (Rick) Walker of Reynoldsburg, Lisa (Tony) Vilardi of Connecticut, Molly Richards of Vincent and Jane (Joey) Rush of Reynoldsburg, 1 brother, Robert (Thelma) Cook of Columbus, 1 sister, Jenny Cook of Stockport, 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Wilbur "Bill" Hill and a sister Bernice Cook. A graveside service will be held on Monday, Jan 16, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt. Hermon Cemetery near Amesville with Pastor J.R. Walker officiating. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research or the Shriners Children's Hospital. Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill is handling the arrangements.
