Betty L. Smith Kesterson, 86, of Vincent, passed away on Weds, Nov. 19, 2025 at the Harmer Place Nursing Home in Marietta.  She was born on April 18, 1939 in Keith W.Va. to the late Howard and Effie Blevens McBrayer.  She was a homemaker who loved raising her family and attended the Bethel Wesleyan Church near Amesville and the Bartlett Bible Baptist Church.  She is survived by 2 daughters, Debra Hartleben of Belpre and Jenny Pugh of Stockport, 7 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Smith and Gary Kesterson, a son, Bobby Hartleben, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.  Services will be held on Mon, Nov. 24, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home with burial following at the Mt. Hermon Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family on Sun, Nov. 23 from 4-6 P.M. at the funeral home.
