Betty Jane Ramsey, 86 of Chesterhill, died on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at 9:55 A.M. at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville. She was born on November 17, 1925 in Cutler, Ohio to the late Aaron and Viola Mayle. She was a homemaker and worked on the farm beside her husband. She was a member of the Southland Mission Church near Cutler. She is survived by her husband Olan Ramsey of the home and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, one infant son, 3 brothers, Archie, Alonzo and Elwood Mayle and 3 sisters, Debbie Myers, Sarah Myers and Vida Dalton. Services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Southland Mission Church with Pastor Eugene Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Southland Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 5-8 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill.
