Betty L. Webb, 79, of McConnelsville passed away at 1:45 p.m. Monday, September 5, 2011 at the Riverside Country Care Center in McConnelsville. She was born March 8, 1932 in Albright , W. Va. the daughter of the late Harold A. Burge Sr. and Virginia Teets Scweyers Burge. She was a LPN at Luther Home of Mercy in Williston, Ohio. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed sewing in her earlier years, and loved to can and bake.She is survived by her husband Robert F. Webb whom she married September 27, 1956. Sons Ralph E. (Lynn) Smith of McConnelsville and James R. (Wilma) Smith of Genoa, Ohio ;one daughter Tamara (Richard) Polsdorfer of Oregon, Ohio; five grandsons and several great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; one step sister Marvel Burge of Washington.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers Arthur Burge, Donley Burge Sr, and Wilton Burge. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept 8, 2011 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Sept 9, 2011 at the Neelysville Curch of Christ near McConnesville with Jeff Shaner officiating with burial to follow in Beverly Cemetery .
