Betty M. Weingart, passed away at Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville, on Friday, March 5, 2021.  She was born on April 26, 1927 in New Boston, Ohio to the late Carl Albert and Oda (Hammond) Jones.  She was owner operator of Weingart Printing in Malta for 49 years.  She is a member of the Pennsville Church of Christ, very active in 4-H and Girl Scouts in her early years.  A special Honorary member of the Pennsville Fire Dept.  She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Lynn A. Weingart of the home, 2 daughters Sue Sharp of Murphysboro TN and Shaun Collins of McConnelsville, 1 brother Ronald Jones of Springfield, 4 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 son David Weingart, 2 brothers, Floyd and Paul 1 sister, Winifred and 1 grandson Michael.  There will be a visitation from 11-12 pm on Tues., March 9 at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville followed by a funeral at 12pm noon.  Burial will follow at Malta cemetery.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
