Betty Whaley, 87, of Malta passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017 peacefully at her home. She was born on June 2, 1929 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late William Leonard Pinkston and Rosa Lee Greer Pinkston. She is retired from Thompkins Industries(formerly Malta Manufacturing). She is survived by three daughters Shirley Mills of Lancaster, Linda Nichols and Gloria Ott of Malta, one son Marshal Whaley of McConnelsville; nine grandchildren Rob and Ron Nichols, Mike Mills, Chris and Joe Oldaker, Toni and Doug Ott, Wendy Adams and Noami Janes; and several greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Helen Hodge. Betty was a beloved mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
