Billy P. Harris, 71, of Cutler, died on Tues. Nov. 3, 2015 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on Aug. 19, 1944 in Cutler to the late Gerald L. and Emma Goins Harris. He worked at Anchor Hocking in Lancaster and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He also attended the Cutler Mission Church. He is survived by his wife, Linda Harris of the home, 2 sons, Larry Hayes of Columbus and Billy Hayes of Cincinnati, 4 step daughters, Donna Heeter of Cutler, Lynn (Mark) Dalrymple of Crooksville, Tamara (Greg) Kennedy of McConnelsville and Sandra Heeter of Beverly, 2 brothers, Clifford Harris of Florida and Joe Harris of Zanesville, 1 sister, Hazel Norris of Georgia, 3 grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Rodney and Charles and Buster Harris and a sister Sis Harris. Services will be held on Tues. Nov. 10, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cutler Mission Church. Burial will follow in the Kilvert Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Monday, Nov. 9 from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with the funeral arrangements.
