Bonnie J. Hite, 77, of McConnelsville, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021 at the Genesis Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville.  She was born on July 6, 1944 in McConnelsville to the late John E. and Olive L. Hill Marshall.  She retired after 38 years from the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville and was a member of the Neelysville Church of Christ.  She is survived by a son, Charles (Tammy) Kuhn of McConnelsville, a daughter, Rhonda (Lloyd) Applegate of Milford, a step-son, Steven Hite of Cal, a step-Daughter, Hedi Hite of Cal, a sister, Christine (Clyde) Crawford of McConnelsville, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a special friend Harry Collins.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earl Hite, a brother, Jessie Ed Marshall and 5 sisters, Eleanor Foster, Cleo Alcock, Opal Riley, Dorothy Hopkins and Virginia Gessel.  Services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at the Corner Stone South Church in McConnelsville with burial following at the Malta Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family from 10-12 at the church on the day of the services.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
