Brandi Ann Kunze, 37, of Pomeroy, formerly of McConnelsville, passed away on Sun, Sept. 13, 2026 at the Holzer Meigs Emergency Center in Pomeroy. She was born on Feb. 4, 1989 in Columbus to Jimi Shortridge and Loralen Copeland Morgan. She worked as a clerk for Dollar General in Pomeroy. She is survived by her father, Jimi Shortridge of Akron, mother, Loralen (Donald) Morgan of Marietta, 2 daughters, Miley Hook and Sonya Kunze both of McConnelsville, 2 brothers, Jonathon Shotridge of McConnelsville and Brandon VanWinkle of Athens, 3 sisters, Chareese Ball of Pennsville, Kirsten Fogle of Marion and Kala VanWinkle of Columbus, paternal grandmother, Barbara(Jeff) Dennis of Waldo and maternal grandmother, Lorraine (Michael Porter) Ridings of Marietta. Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling a caring cremation for the family and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
