Brent A. Barker, 69, of Zanesville, passed away on Mon. June 23, 2025 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville.  He was born on Aug. 4, 1955 in Zanesville to the late Lewis Barker and Judith Marson.  He is survived by 2 sons, Shawn Barker of Florida and Shane Barker of Gratiot, a brother, Ed Barker of Somerset, 4 sisters, Deb Cooperider of Somerset, Diane Yantes of Alexandria, Sally Moomaw of Philo and Julia Keller of Zanesville and 2 grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Jamie and Bruce Barker.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling a caring cremation for the family.
