Bruce W. Dye, 88, of McConnelsville passed away early Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Highland Oaks Care Center in McConnelsville after a long struggle with dementia. He was born July 12, 1936 in Zanesville, the son of the late Ralph D. Dye Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Coulson) Dye. He graduated from M & M High School in 1954, where he played on the football and basketball teams, and from The Ohio State University in 1958, where he received his BA in Business. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, (Linda) Kay Dye; his sons, Scott Dye (Josie) of Canton and Bradley Dye of Pataskala; and three granddaughters, Aubrey, McKinley, and Carolena Dye of Canton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers David A. Dye, Ralph D. Dye Jr., and Jerry C. Dye.
