Calvin C. Duncan, 93, of Elliots Crossroads, passed away on Sat. June 30, 2018 at the Hickory Creek Nursing Home in The Plains. He was born on Dec. 12, 1924 in Elliots Crossroads to the late Harvey O. and Bertha Hogsett Duncan. He drove a coal truck in his early years and retired from the Morgan County School system where he worked as a custodian at the Homer Union School for over 18 years. He was member of the Pisgah United Methodist Church near Bishopville. He is survived by his wife Joan Price Duncan of the Home, a son, David Duncan of Glouster, a daughter, Margie Webb of Logan and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with Pastor Junior Van Horn officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountville Cemetery.
