Carl E. Cordray, 93, of Circleville, formerly of McConnelsville, passed away at 8:10 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at his home. He was born October 19, 1920, in Morgan County, the son of the late Charles Cordray and Jesie Lindimore Cordray. He retired from Clevite Corp. in McConnelsville and was a Army Veteran of WWII. He attended Grace United Methodist Church in McConnelsville. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dorothy Morrow Cordray; daughter, Karen (Dwight) Robinson of Columbus; son, Gary (Connie) Cordray of Anaheim, CA; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Bracken Foster officiating. He will be laid to rest in McConnelsville Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Heartland Hospice or any local Hospice organization.
