Carl Buford Robinson 83, of Malta, passed away at 10:20 p.m.  January 19, 2018 at Riverside Landing in McConnelsville. He was born October 30, 1934 in Lawrence Co.  the son of the late H. Dewey Robinson and Polly Compton. He was a meat cutter for the Kroger Co. and retired after 43 years. He served in the U.S. Army during peacetime. He is survived by his children; Theresa Terri (Steve) Best of Malta, Vincent Scott (Sherry) Robinson of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, and Brooke (Thomas) Noland of Zanesville; seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Robinson of Springfield, Ohio and Grayson Robinson of Harrah, Oklahoma; his loving companion, Carolyn Shriver of McConnelsville and her family; Julia(Dean) Porter, Jim (Kim) Drake, Jean Ann (Alan) Reed, Jennifer(Tom) Apperson, and Jodie (Freddie Woodard)  Ashton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Robinson in 1997; a brother, Donald. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at  1:00 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. He will be laid to rest in Malta Cemetery beside his wife.
