Carol J. Maxwell, 80, of McConnelsville passed away Thursday, November 30, 2107 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born May 9, 1937 in Athens County to the late, Paul Jarvis and Wilden Bennet Jarvis. Carol was a retired nurse's aid having worked for 30 years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witness of McConnelsville. Carol is survived by her children Richard M. Mayhew of Mt. Victory, Teresa Mayhew of McConnelsville, Carol Lodhi of Marietta, and Harold Miller, Jr. of Marietta, 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters; Esther Heston of Belpre and Becky Ann Tippie of Athens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Maxwell; a brother, Paul Jarvis; and 2 sisters, Elaine Zumbro and Violet Mollett. Calling hours will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2107 and from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2107 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
