Caroline R. Ashton, 71, of 2466 E. Airport Rd. McConnelsville passed away at 12:45 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2013 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.

She was born May 2, 1941 in Morgan County, a daughter of the late Virgil Baker and Edwinna Harrison Baker.

She worked at Brockway Glass and Malta Manufacturing, and was a member of the Malconta Garden Club.

She is survived by three daughters, Donna Hann (Anthony Wright) of Malta; Kim (Kevin) Seyerle of Philo; and Ann (Bob) Ross of Zanesville; one step-son, Anthony Ashton; several grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C. Wayne Ashton, who died in 2004, and a sister, Bonnie Baker.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 19, at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, with Pastor Galen Finley officiating.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband in McConnelsville Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to services at the funeral home.
