Carolyn Sue Anderson, 80, of McConnelsville, passed away on Mon, May 20, 2024 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville.  She was born on April 25, 1944 in Cutler to the late Perry and Jerolina Mayle.  She worked for over 25 years at the Mark Rest Center in McConnelsville.  She is survived by her son, Bruce (Mary Wood) Mayle of Chesterhill, a brother, Bobby Mayle of Cutler, 2 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and special friend, Jackie Wogan.  She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Joyce Mayle, 2 brothers, Ernie and Billy Mayle and 2 sisters, Mary Burke and JoAnn Croston.  Services will be held on Thus, May 23, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with burial following in the Southland Mission Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family 1 hour prior to the services.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
