Carroll R. Moore, 75, of Malta, died on Friday, May 30, 2014 at his residence. He was born on Oct. 20, 1938 in Pomeroy, Ohio to the late George W. and Lydia King Moore. He owned and operated the Malta Satellite Company in Malta. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Selbert Moore of the home, 2 sons, Thomas (Linda) Moore of Crooksville and Robert Moore of Malta, 2 daughters, Vickie (Russell) Hale of New Lexington and Mary (Ernie) Wisecarver of Malta, 1 sister, Eva J. Johnson, 1 granddaughter, Amber (Sid) Carr that he raised as his own, 1 great grandson Jonathan Moore that he raised as his own and 9 other grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 grandson, John, 2 brothers, George and William Moore, 3 sisters, Goldie Lightfoot, Betty Archer and Leona Archer. The family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 with a short Prayer service by Pastor Willie Syfert following. A caring cremation is taking place at Carroll's request.
