SUNBURY: Carroll Burns Triplet, 88 of Sunbury, Ohio died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at his residence. He was born on October 13, 1920 in Bartlett, Ohio to the late Harry and Glossy Cain Triplet. He retired from Columbus Auto parts after thirty-four years where he was a millwright. He is survived by his wife, Marion Pierce Triplet of the home; three sons, Phillip Triplet of Marion, Tony Triplet of Columbus, and Greg Triplet of Sunbury; one step son, Johnny Slonager of Port Charlotte, FL; two daughters, Rebecca Beis, and Dixie Diane Macklin both of Columbus; one brother, Bernard Triplet of Chesterhill; and two sisters, Zola Eckard of Newark and Mary Katherine Anderson of Barlow; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild. His parents; one brother, Myrkle Triplet; and one sister, Pauline Ward preceded him in death. Services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with pastor Delbert Bennett officiating. Friends may call on Saturday, May 30 from 11-1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Bartlett Cemetery.
