Carroll L. Welling 80, of McConnelsville, passed away at 2:43 a.m. October 12, 2023 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. He was born May 14, 1943 in Greene County, Pennsylvania. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran serving from 1966 to 1972, Life long member of the VFW Post 4713 Malta, Ohio, and was the head mechanic for buses at Morgan Local Schools. He is survived by his children, Charlie Welling, Pearl Livingood, Sandra Brum, Susan Smith, Connie (Eric) Sinkowski, Christina (Jim) Fisher and Carl Welling; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Howard Welling; sister, Mary Shook; one special niece, Jessica Riley; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Welling; two children, Roy Welling and Claudia Welling; sisters, Merle Huff, Patsy Rodgers, and Bonnie Nesselroad. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will  be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday with Steve Wainwright officiating.
