Cecil J. Huck, 86, of McConnelsville passed away at 11:55 a.m. Sunday, July 13,2014 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.

He was born February 12, 1928 in Morgan County to the late William J. Huck and Berneta L. Hopp Huck. Cecil was a retired farmer and owner of Huck Farms of McConnelsville for many years. He was also a member of the St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville.

He is survived by two sisters, Jean Clark and Marjorie Smith both of Columbus; a brother, Paul Huck of Leesburg, Florida; and several neices and nephews. He is also survived by two special friends, Hillary Arnold and Roger Sands both of McConnelsville.

In addition to his parents he preceded in death by a brother, Louis Huck.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. A Christian Wake Services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday July 16, 2014 at 11;00 a.m. at the St. James Catholic Church with Father Paul Walker officiating. Cecil will be laid to rest in the Brick Cemetery.
