Cecil W. Reed 90, of McConnelsville, passed away at 10:50 a.m. March 9, 2022 at Riverside Landing in McConnelsville. He was born June 1, 1931 in Noble County the son of the late, Owen Reed and Mary Susan Graham Reed. He worked at Ohio Ferro Alloy and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Ann Harlow Reed whom he married July 14, 1956; children, Tania (William) King of Bartlett, John (Darlene) Reed of Malta, Donald (Kim) Reed of Westerville, Rodney(Tammy) Reed of Duncan Falls, Robert (Beth) Reed of Stockport, Randall Reed of Portersville; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; one sister, Sarah Wallar of Zanesville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Patty Lou Henderson;  brothers, Boyd Reed, Edsel Reed, Emil Reed and Kermit Reed. Friends may call 12 to 2 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2022 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in Mc Connelsville where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. Military rites will be held following the service by American Legion Post 24 Honor Guard. He will be laid to rest in Bailey Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
