Charles J. Thompson, 75 of McConnelsville, formerly of Chillicothe, passed away on Sat, Oct. 29, 2022 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville, Ohio.  He was born on Oct. 1, 1947 in Montgomery, West Virginia to the late Robert and Jewel Thompson.  He served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and spent his life working as an electrician.  He is survived by 4 sons, Rob Thompson, Jason Thompson, Joshua Thompson and Nikiah Thompson, 4 brothers, Richard, Billy, Don and Joe Thompson, 2 sisters, Loretta Mullens and Tina Fantz, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Daniel and 2 brothers.  Matheney Funeral Home is handling a caring cremation at his request.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
