Charles H. “Chucky” Johnson Jr., 67, of Corning, passed away on Tues, May, 19, 2026 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville. He was born on Nov. 9, 1958 in Chesterhill to the late Charles Johnson Sr. and Cindy Hill Parsons. He worked for over 30 years as an owner operator truck driver. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Becky Waldrip Johnson of the home, a daughter, Jennifer (Steve) Donnelly of Marietta, 2 step-sons, John Wardrip of Stockport and Jereme Wardrip of Zanesville, a step-daughter, Julie (Chad Rehart) Mount of Corning, a brother, Andy Parsons, of Athens, a sister, Peggy Kennedy of Chesterhill, 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Larry Johnson, a sister Sue Mayle and a grandson, Chase Mount. Services will be held on Sat, May 30, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at the Mt. Hermon Church near Amesville with burial following in the Mt. Hermon cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Fri, May 29, 2026 at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
