Obituary

Charles E. Kisor, 79, of McConnelsville, died on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 1:15 P.M. of a sudden stroke at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville. He was born on October 21, 1932 in Millfield, Ohio to the late James A. and Glenna Keirns Kisor. He retired after 30 years from Taylor Woodcraft in Malta. He attended the Church Of The Full Gospel Ministry in McConnelsville, a long time member of the Stockport Bowling League, 20 year member of the Stockport Fire Department and past Chief, spent 4 years as the Stockport town Marshall and was an avid Bingo player. He is survived by 2 sons, Charles L. Kisor of Roosevelt, Utah, and Ronald W. Kisor of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 2 daughters, Debra Frye Barker of Caldwell, and Bonnie Haga of Caldwell, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grand daughter, a very special friend Mac Murphy and several special nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother, James "June" Kisor Jr. Service will be held on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. Burial will follow in the Millfield Cemetery near Glouster. Friends may call on the family on Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
