Charles E. Morrow 94, of McConnelsville passed away at 12:30 p.m. September 18, 2014 at Genesis Good Samaritian Hospital in Zanesville. He was born August 1, 1920 in Morgan County the son of the late Gerald Morrow and Ruby White Morrow . He was a farmer all of his life, Marine Veteran of WWII , graduate of M&M High School, member of American Legion Post 24 of McConnelsville, DAV, Neelysville Grange, McKendree United Methodist Church,and Corinthian Lodge F&AM of McConnelsville. He is survived by a daughter Carol (Robert) Wilson of Zanesville; sons Chris Morrow of Zanesville and Keith Morrow of Baltimore, Ohio ; two grandchildren Kathy (Eric) Curtis and Kristy Wilson; sisters Sarah White of McConnelsville and Dorothy Cordray of Circleville .In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane Risen Morrow who died Sept. 17, 2003, two brothers Lee and Max Morrow. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday with Pastor Lee Ann Dunlap officiating, He will be laid to rest in McConnelsville Cemetery by his wife with Military Honors by Amrican Legion Post 24 Honor Guard.Memorial contributions may be made to McKendree United Methodist Church.
