Charles Edward Snider, age 82 of McConnelsville,O. passed away at 6:00 a.m. Tues. September 25. 2012 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home McConnnelsville,O. He was born May 30, 1930 in New Lexington,O. the son of the late Edward and Mildred Beaver Snider. He was a retired Whitehall Police Officer, an Air Force veteran in the Korean Conflict, McConnelsville American Legion post 24,Life Member Malta V.F.W #4713., McConnelsville Eagles and Moose Lodge, Port of Morgan Boat Club and a Catholic by Faith. He is survived by his wife Annette(Nettie) Pierce Snider, 3 sons Charles(Lois)Snider of New Carlisle,O., Gary(Debbie)Snider of Pickerington,O., Randy(Terrie)Snider of Blacklick,O. 1 daughter Pamela Day of Phoenix,Ar., 2 brothers David Snider of New Lexington,O. and Harold(Joanne)Snider of Gainesville,Fla. 13 grandchildrenan and, 6 greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Ray Snider and 1 sister Ruth John, 2 grndchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Sat. Sept. 29,2012 at Matheney Funeral Home McConnelsville,O. Bishop Robert Smith officiating burial will be in the Community Gardens Cemetery New Lexington,O. friends may call at the funeral from 11:00 to 1:00 on Sat. Sept 29,2012.
