Charles Lee Thompson, age 76, of Chesterhill, Ohio, passed away at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at his residence. He was born on February 11, 1936 in Chesterhill, a son of Chancie Lee and Ethel Holbert Thompson. He was a construction worker and coal miner. He is survived by his mother, of Chesterhill, his wife Sarah of Zanesville, 2 sons: Keith and Charles Thompson; 5 step-sons; 2 daughters: Carolyn Thompson and Charolette Young; 1 stepdaughter; several grand and great grand children; 1 brother: William Thompson of Chesterhill, and 3 sisters: Linda Stevens of Carrollton, Ky., Alice Faye Thompson and Elizabeth "Sis" Stevens both of Chesterhill. Charles was preceded in death by his father, 1 infant son, Chuck, and 4 brothers: James, Jerry, David, and Robert. Services will be held at the Mount Hermon Church on Monday, December 31 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ron Frizzell officiating. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
