Obituary

Charlotte A. Callihan, 79, of McConnelsville, passed away October 30, 2013, at the Morrison House in Zanesville.

She was born August 27, 1934, in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Donald Finley and Mary Price Finley.

Mrs. Callihan was a retired teacher and touched many lives while teaching for 21 years at Morgan High School. She was a member of the Deerfield Presbyterian Church and Retired Teachers Association.

She is survived by one son, Kevin (Denise) Callihan of Lancaster; step-children, Janice Roberts of Columbus, Judy Martling of Columbus, and Jim Callihan of Peterborough, NH; several step-grandchildren; and several special nieces and nephews; brothers, Donald Finley of Bellefontaine, Paul Finley of Lithopolis, and John Finley of Dayton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Callihan; and one brother, James Finley.

Memorial services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, Nov. 9, at Deerfield Presbyterian Church with Reverend Barbara Morrison officiating.

Her ashes will be buried next to her husband in Deerfield Cemetery.

Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is in charge of arrangements.
