Charlotte K. Johnson 87, of Marietta, passed away at 12:25 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta. She was born Jaunary 19, 1927 in Candler, North Carolina the daughter of the late Cashius Penland and Sadie Kathleen Eplee. She was the housekeeping superviser at the Ramada Inn in Marietta and a member of the Marietta Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by two daughters Diana Lynn (Frank) Ferguson of Seymour, Tenn.; Jerilyn (Dave) Tuten of Marietta; one son Bruce (Leslie) Johnson of Coolville; five grandchildren Patrick Johnson,Amanda Sawyer, Bryan Tuten, Bethany Tuten, and Paige Tuten; two step grandchildren Jeremy Pierce and Amber Ridenhour; two great grandchildren Molly and Lucas, one step great grandchild Preston, also eleven siblings. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph B. Johnson who died November 22, 1999, a son Randy Johnson. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014 with Pastor Victor Marshall officiating.
